Knowing and serving Jesus Christ it's really all that matters if I were to pray for you every day I would not pray that you be wealthy or even healthy if I could pray only one prayer for you it.
Would be this that God would give you a heart that was totally devoted to his son I have known Jesus for more than 40 years I have failed him many times but he has never failed me and the more I.
Know about him the more wonderful he is right now you're very young one day you're going to be very old the only thing that matters is knowing him and you know what's most amazing to.
Me that he loved me so much that he died for all the sins I've ever committed it's the love of God that causes us to want to know him so that's what I hope for you that you will know Jesus.

[Music] we're here at the old school conference and it seems like God has really helped all the men that are here um for me it's been a great blessing to see a lot of my.
Old friends Paulo Jr from Brazil uh Steve Lawson uh Josh viice and so many others and this conference the main theme is on the sufficiency of scripture and uh last night we we heard a sermon.
From Steve Lawson from from Hebrews 4 and it was powerful about how the word of God is our weapon of warfare now there's been a lot of emphasis of course on scripture so last.
Night when I preached I felt like it was necessary to uh give an emphasis on prayer kind of went all over the New Testament mainly the gospels looking at the prayer life of our Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ that even though he was God into flesh he did what he did as a man in the power of the holy spirit in an absolute dependence upon his father always.
Drawing upon him in prayer we see that
In the Book of Mark we see it throughout the Book of Luke and then we get to uh chapter 11 and we see the disciples come to Jesus and say teach us to pray you.Know it's amazing to me that uh they never said teach us to cast out demons teach us to walk on water teach us to raise the dead or even teach us to preach they said teach us to.
Pray that kind of indicates to me that maybe the most amazing thing about the life of Our Lord was his communion with the father [Music].
[Music] so there's a great need uh for church planting uh to plant churches all over the country of Brazil but also in Portugal and the Portuguese speaking.
Countries um in Africa in order to do that it requires men who are trained and we believe that the Great Commission is local churches planting local churches but in order to do that you have to have.
Men who qualify according to First Timothy chap 3 and Titus 1 cry in collaboration with several other organizations has partnered with alansa do calvario Church to build a new.
Facility here in franka this building will become the Church's home a seminary a publishing house and much more [Music] the.

Surgery and uh I'm a little weak but I'm doing pretty well so I would appreciate your continued prayers for me especially for heart cry and uh it kind of is a I don't know a marker in the road for me I.
